President Calls The Bluff On Budget Cuts

Pres. Obama Calling Deficit "Bluff"

Jun-28-2010

The American people are standing up to runaway government spending. So why is Our Supreme Leader still spending yet saying he'll call our "bluff" when it comes to cutting the deficits and debt?

President Obama attended the G-20 summit and did not find unity among world leaders. The rest of the world sees reality, and they know it's time to reign in wild government spending. Our president did not agree, saying "We can't all rush to the exits at the same time." Maybe we should lead the way then!

And in some misguided comments during the summit, President Obama said he's calling our "bluff" on deficits and debt. The president said: "And people should learn that about me because NEXT YEAR when I start presenting some very difficult choices to the country, I hope some of these folks who are hollering about deficits and debt step-up because I'm calling their bluff. We'll see how much of that, how much of the political arguments that they're making right now are real and how much of it was just politics."
