Crimes Against Liberty

Steve McCann

Barack Obama in the 2008 campaign made it clear, to all that were not captivated by his cult of personality, that he was going to "transform America." In only 19 months he has set the United States on a collision course with national bankruptcy and the ultimate end of our economic and military super-power status.

This head-long dash, with the acquiescence of the Democrats in Congress, has been so intense and so rapid that it has been difficult to adequately chronicle. The internet, talk radio, Fox News and some newspapers have done a superb job in revealing the methodology and long term implications as the individual actions and the frontal assault on the Constitution were taking place. However so much was taking place, by design, that it was nearly impossible to not only keep up but to bring the larger picture into focus.

However David Limbaugh with his new book: Crimes Against Liberty: An Indictment of President Barack Obama has, in a highly readable and well-documented treatise, pulled together all the myriad of threads that have made this brief period in the history of the United States so potentially devastating.

Mr. Limbaugh, in a clear and concise manner, has proffered a bill of indictment to a grand jury that is the American voter. It goes into not only Barack Obama's dictatorial bent and deliberate flaunting of the rule of law but also his alliances with those fellow travelers that view the United States as the villain in world and domestic affairs and the need to re-distribute wealth as a punishment.

The case is made that Mr. Obama has willfully and with forethought set out to destroy the country that he, during the campaign, claimed to love.

This book is not only a must read as a primer prior to this election but should be kept in prominent place on the bookshelves of all Americans as a reminder of what can happen when the public is easily taken in by good looks, soothing rhetoric and meaningless platitudes by someone with no experience whatsoever and who was brought up and immersed in a sea of radical ideology.
