Kentucky: Rand Paul Ushers In Tea Party Tidal Wave

From Michelle Malkin:

Rand Paul ushers in the Tea Party tidal wave; Rubio: Repubs get a second chancefrom Michelle Malkin by Michelle MalkinKY GOP Senator-elect Rand Paul just finished delivering a fantastic victory speech focusing on fiscal responsibility, the Tea Party tidal wave, restoration of the Constitution, and American exceptionalism.

“America is exceptional, but not inherently so. America is exceptional because we embraced freedom.”

Paul assailed dependence on government, asserted that prosperity is created by individuals, not Washington.

He said he would challenge his colleagues to contemplate: “Do we believe in the individual or do we believe in the State?”

As he wrapped up his speech, reality set in at liberal NBC News — which projected that “Republicans will win control of the U.S. House by a wide margin.” Fox soon followed suit.

Cue the dirge music for Speaker Mop and Glow.

Tea Party insurgent and GOP Sen.-elect Marco Rubio: “This is a second chance for Republicans to be what they said they were going to be.”

Don’t blow it, Republicans. We’re watching.
