FOX News' Megyh Kelly Confronts CAIR Executive (Hamas Sympathizer) Over NPR Firing Of Juan Williams

From Freedom's Lighthouse:

Fox News’ Megyn Kelly Confronts CAIR Executive over NPR Firing of Juan Williams: “Happy Now?” – Video

Here is video of Fox News’ Megyn Kelly in a very contentious interview today with the National Communications Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). They went back and forth over the firing of liberal commentator Juan Williams by National Public Radio (NPR) simply because he honestly stated on The O’Reilly Factor that he gets nervous on airplanes when he sees people dressed in full Muslim garb. For that, the far-Left NPR – which worships at the altar of political correctness – fired Williams.

Kelly pressed CAIR Director – Ibrahim Hooper – on whether or not he’s “happy now” with the firing. Hooper would never admit they wanted Williams fired, but Kelly was having none of that. She eventually moved on to asking Hooper if he really believes this kind of travesty actually helps his organization in the minds of the American public. It was clear he could not care less about what the public thinks.

I rarely agree with Juan Williams on politics, but I have always respected him and believe him to be a man of honor and conviction. It is so ironic that a man who defends liberals on a daily basis would himself become the victim of the politically-correct nonsense that is sweeping America.

Fox News moved quickly today to sign Juan Williams to a $2 million contract over the next three years, which will broaden his role on the network, and also give him a feature column on Fox News.com. Good for Juan! Williams will be seen and heard by far more people through Fox News than he ever was at NPR.

NOTE: In this video, it was interesting that the CAIR Executive openly stated that NPR is “liberal,” and that Juan Williams had come to hold views that just did not comport with the viewpoint of NPR. But NPR receives some Federal Funding. Shouldn’t they be seeking to share facts and information and not push a liberal agenda? It’s time to end Government funding for NPR. Hopefully, that will be a priority for a GOP-controlled House of Representatives.
