Memorial Day

I have ancestors who fought in The French and Indian War before there was a United States; I have ancestors and family who fought in the Revolutionary War, the Seminole Wars, the War of Northern Aggression/War Between the States (Mostly Confederate ancestors, but at least one Union ancestor), the Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Cold War, and the First and Second Gulf Wars.  I am a Veteran of the First Gulf War and the Cold War.  Today I reflect upon the sacrifices that these and others have made for us.
