From Freedom's Lighthouse:
Here is raw video (Warning: The video is kind of shaky) of political strategist Dick Morris speaking at a West Virginia GOP Rally this past week, where he told the crowd that the West Virginia Senate Seat long-held by the late Robert Byrd can be won by Republicans. Morris said, “Raese can beat Manchin.” John Raese is the GOP Senate Nominee, and Joe Manchin is West Virginia’s incumbent Democrat Governor.
Morris then went through how he believes the GOP can win back control of the U.S. Senate. The GOP needs a net gain of 10-seats to do it. Here’s how Morris broke it down:
Four seats are in the bag – Arkansas, North Dakota, Delaware, Indiana
Four seats with GOP solid leads (according to Morris) – Pennsylvania, Colorado, Washington, Nevada
Two seats that are nip and tuck – California, Wisconsin
An eleventh seat the GOP could now win – West Virginia – “the Raese seat,” as Morris calls it.
Morris did not mention Illinois, but that is a 12th seat very much in play that the GOP has a very good chance of taking away from the Democrats.
