Rick Santorum addresses CPAC

From Glenn Beck and CPAC:

Rick Santorum addresses CPAC

The keyword of this speech was contrast. Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum not only took the time to compare his conservative record with President Obama, but he took on his competitors in the GOP primary as well. Rick Santorum addressed the issue of Obamacare, which he said is “one of the reasons I’m in this race is because I think Obamacare is a game changer for America.” Which he followed up with,”When government gives you rights, government can take away those rights.”
Santorum went on to address the administration’s current attack on the catholic church, drawing the connection that this attack goes further than just the Catholic Church by saying, “It’s not about contraception, it’s about freedom of speech, it’s about freedom of religion.” He closed by talking about the importance of the Constitution and our founders saying, “They pledged theirs lives, fortunes and sacred honor.” Rick pointed out, that he wasn’t asking for their lives or fortunes (although he did mention he wouldn’t mind a donation at his website), but our honor is on the line this election. “Honors not a term that is often used during elections in America anymore, but it is what’s at stake.”
